United Nations Appeals Tribunal.

The UNAT 2025 Fall Session will be held from 20 to 31 October 2025. On 31 October 2025, the outcome of the judgments rendered during the 2025 Fall Session will be announced by the Judges in the UNAT's oral proceedings in CR 6. The UN Appeals Tribunal (UNAT) was established by the General Assembly in 2009, as part of the new UN system for the administration of justice. As the second level appellate review tribunal within the administration of justice system, UNAT reviews, within its specific jurisdiction, appeals against judgments rendered by the UN Dispute Tribunal, the Dispute Tribunal of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), as well as appeals of decisions taken by the Standing Committee acting on behalf of the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Board (UNJSPB), and by those organizations, agencies and entities that have accepted UNAT's jurisdiction. The Institute of International Law (" Institut de droit international "), founded in 1873, is the oldest international law institution. In 1904, it was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of its action in favour of arbitration among States . During the 2025 Session of Rabat, the Institute of International Law adopted various resolutions and declarations.
