The G20 comprises 19 countries including: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Türkiye, United Kingdom, and United States and two regional bodies, namely the European Union and the African Union. The G20 members include the world’s major economies, representing 85% of global Gross Domestic Product, over 75% of international trade, and about two-thirds of the world population. The G20 does not have a permanent secretariat or staff. Instead, the G20 Presidency rotates annually among the members. The G20 Presidency is responsible for bringing together the G20 agenda in consultation with other members and in response to developments in the global economy. Strengthening the National and International Architecture for Sustainable Development and Durable Peace in Africa.

Central Theme: Strengthening Africa's fiscal, institutional, and governance capacity to fulfill the social contract, alongside reforming international systems to better support these efforts. Key Findings: Peace and Development : Presents findings on Africa's peace and security landscape, progress toward the SDGs, and the interconnectedness of peace, development, and human rights. Financing for Development : Highlights the need to overhaul international financial architecture to address the root causes of underdevelopment and strengthen national systems. The global launch was held on November 12, 2025, to present the reports' findings to a global audience of policymakers, development partners, and academics. The event will present the key findings of the reports, facilitating a critical dialogue on practical pathways to reshape Africa's peace and financing for development agendas .
